Pinky Ballerina

Hi scrappers! Are you ready to take a rest this weekend? I am! I really enjoy weekends because I get to go visit my parents and relax a little while and of course I get to craft a little bit with my mom. I  hope to get many cards done this weekend, because there are a few challenges I want to enter. I've learn that challenges are a fun way to learn more tips on creating cards. I've been wanting to have time to create a layout of Ruby, but I just can't find the time to do it. Hopefully I can do that this weekend.

Anyways, I want to share with you this card. I'm not really into pink, but I thought that this paper was really cute and the ballerina stamp too so I decided to give it a try and enter this card to Carol's Sketch Fun! I've missed the last two challenges, but I'm on time to make it to this one.

I really like how the sketch turn out even though I had difficulties with the flowers, I wasn't sure if using brads would be a good idea but I think it looks ok. I tried to make it looks 3-dimensional, I'm not an expert in photography but I hope you can see it.

Well I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for visiting my blog and for leaving lovely comments! Smileys

  11. Hazel, this is a gorgeous card. My favourite colour used to be pink until some years ago when I started to prefer lilac/purple.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my blog and entering my blog candy. Your name will be added to the hat and I wish you all the best. I will be in touch again after the closing date if you are lucky enough to be my blog candy winner.

    Best wishes
